Sundance Film Festival Sets 2024 Key Dates for 40th Anniversary
The 2024 Sundance Film Festival will run from January 18 to 28 in Park City, Utah under new festival director Eugene Hernandez.

From an industry perspective, it’s wonderful to see Gene at the helm. He’s been a terrific supporter of the indie film scene for many years, from his work with Res and IndieWire to his time at Lincoln Center and the NY Film Festival. He’ll do an amazing job. Filmmakers will still have to manage expectations on acceptance, as the odds are less than 1%. But Sundance will once again offer virtual streaming options, which is great for film fans across the country who can’t make the trek to Park City.
