I see all these big names... Disney... Neon... Participant... etc., etc. and so-on. They have the money to put behind a film, whether a Narrative Feature or a Documentary to get it worldwide exposure. Trailers have been around for over a century, as the primary sales tool for films, but the Studios, major production companies and big distributors take all the good times and venues to advertise their product, the low budget indies made for pocket change, even if they have the best trailer in the world, will never be seen. We need a whole new sales tool for the independents that can put them on an equal footing with the big boys with the big bucks.
